On my way home from work today, a Google Adwords advert was broadcast on a local radio station I was listening to. When I got home, I followed the links given to me on the advert, and I eventually ended up at this page
It looks like google are promoting Adwords to local businesses in my area. I’m pretty sure they’ll be targeting other towns and cities in the U.K too. I haven’t used Adwords yet, so this is the perfect opportunity to do some testing and experimenting. I could use the voucher to start a small ad campaign for funk13. I might also use the free voucher to try and promote some kind of affiliate product.
Adwords???
Adwords is Google’s flagship advertising product and main source of revenue. Adwords lets you create ads and choose keywords, which are words or phrases related to your business, blog, product, website and so on.
When people search on Google using one of your keywords, your ad may appear next to the search results. Now you are advertising to an audience that is already interested in you.
