Like a lot of people, I’m sick of the so called experts telling me to go and blog about something else. ”Make money online, blogging about blogging, these are saturated subjects and you will fail” Sorry, I forgot you own the internet! What annoys me even more, is when I see a fairly new blog, with little or no content telling me to ”give it up” Grrrr. Anyway, just because you’re fairly new to blogging, people automatically assume you know nothing about writing, traffic building and all those other little things that help your blog get noticed. Making money online/blogging or what ever you want to call it, is big business. So, there’s always going to be a demand for it, there’s always going to be someone wanting to read about it. If you know your stuff, and you give it %100 you’re going to do well. All you need is patience.
Here’s some things I’ve been doing to help my blog grow, and they seem to be working.
Can’t find anything to write about?
Are you serious? How many blogs out there are writing about the same things as you? Lots! So, instead of worrying about writers block, go and read some of these other blogs. If you see a post that interests you, write about it yourself. Who cares if it’s been done 1000 times before? Its your blog and it will be your view on the subject. If you like controversy, go and find something you don’t agree with or don’t like, and write about that. Remember to let the author know how you feel, you’ll get visits off whoever you’re criticising/disagreeing with, and if it’s a popular blog, you’ll get visits of their fan boys too.
Make Friends
Don’t try and go it alone, join forces! Being in such a massively populated niche means that you have an almost endless list of ways to get noticed and there’s bound to be people who share your thoughts and views. Having other blogs as friends may get you some backlinks, you might start getting mentioned in their posts and you might even gain some of their readers. When browsing through your rivals blogs, try and look for authors who have the same sorts of views as you, and make friends with them. Think to yourself, is this person the kind of person I could go out and have a beer with? If the thought of it makes you cringe, steer clear. There’s no point making friends with someone you don’t like. You wouldn’t do it in real life would you? You’re going to achieve more if you’re working alongside people you like. While out hunting for new friends, do not ever ever kiss ass! If you start kissing ass, you’re not going to gain respect.
Chill out and boast
Writing about money/blogging 24/7 will increase your relevant content and make you
look better, but it will also benefit you if you go off topic every once in a while. It shows that you’re a real person and not some boring old blogging machine. Remember to Boast! Hell yeah, if you’ve just made $50 doing absolutely nothing, tell everyone! Take a picture, let people know you’re doing well. People love to see success. If people see that you’re doing well, they’re going to keep coming back to your blog in hope that you’re going to reveal your inner most money making secrets.
Don’t Quit and Don’t get lazy
Unless your heart has completely gone, stick with it. If you keep at it and work hard, you’re going to start to overtake other blogs. Quitting will only prove the so called experts rite. The so called experts who post about web hosting companies 24/7, but that’s a different story. If your blog does eventually start to take off, don’t become lazy. I see so many popular blogs over run with guest posts. Having to read a blog full of guests posts is just annoying. I didn’t subscribe to your blog to read about Mr guest posters thoughts. I subscribed because I liked the blog owners thoughts. Plus, I think 90% of guests posts are rubbish as well!
Greed
Don’t get greedy. if you have a nice steady blog bringing in a nice steady income. Why ruin by slapping ads from head to toe over your pages. Having the correct amount of ads won’t make your readers think your just using them. If you’re lucky enough to have people pay you to review their blog/product, don’t over do it. A good example of this is TylerCruz.com, a lot of his readers are fed up of paid review after paid review. Lets look at some comments.

The following is a paid review..
Stop reading right there.

Tyler. More informative posts are needed, you used to comment on how you made your sites big and how much money you made etc, things like that interested us readers. Paid reviews on crap sites do not.

I have been reading your blog for about 5 months now, and I must say I’m getting bored with where you are going.

There’s lots more. Don’t make the same mistake!
If you’re going to survive in the make money blogging niche, you’re going to have to start trying things. The above isn’t a guide, it’s just a list of things I’ve been doing. Some of these things might work for you, some might not. Experiment with your blog and try to be different, people might like your new approach to this over saturated niche. ![]()

Over saturation, ugh I cannot stand that word. They use it a lot in MLM too. Anyway, I really don’t think it has to do with ‘Make Money Blog’ anymore, I think its more if people like your blog and visit it again. I visit A LOT of Money Making Blogs and they are very interesting and entertaining. Its not about competing really but about being traffic and your readers and then eventually I think an income can be made.

lol, the one I hate is blogosphere. Yep I visit lots too, some have some great ideas and others are just complete rip offs.
I’m not really going to focus on my personal money making schemes at the moment, I’m going to work on content and readers.
Thx for the comments
